Sunita Tanwar is a young woman with a dream of becoming a doctor. She hails from Valmiki Basti and grew up in a family of seven, including her parents, Ramjilal and Santra Devi, and her four younger siblings. Her father worked as a rickshaw driver, often facing financial struggles, while her mother managed the household. Despite their limited resources, the family placed a strong emphasis on education and encouraged Sunita to pursue her dreams.
Sunita attended a government school, where she excelled academically. After completing her higher secondary education, she took the NEET exam, but unfortunately, her first attempt was unsuccessful. Undeterred, she continued her studies and completed her BSc degree from Maharani College, Jaipur.
After graduating, Sunita took a break from her studies to fully focus on her preparation for the NEET exam. In 2024, her hard work paid off when she cleared NEET with a strong rank and secured admission to the prestigious Government Medical College in Nagarkoodal, Telangana.
Sunita’s success has become an inspiration for many, particularly young girls in her community. Her story proves that, with determination and hard work, socio-economic barriers can be overcome, and dreams can be realized.
